Diese Masterarbeit untersucht die Beziehung zwischen dem Man Booker Preis und anglo-indischer Literatur. Drei Booker Gewinner, Rushdies Mitternachtskinder, Roys Der Gott der Kleinen Dinge, und Adigas Der Weiße Tiger werden hinsichtlich Exotizismus und Re-Orientalismus analysiert. Es wird festgestellt, dass sich die Verwirklichung des Exotizismus und Re-Orientalismus der Booker-verliehenen Romane von Magie (Rushdie), über Sprache (Roy), bis hin zu Dunkelheit (Adiga) entwickelt hat.This master thesis examines the relationship between the Man Booker Prize and Indian Writing in English.
